RDM of Minnesota adds a new dimension of sheet metal forming capability... two German engineered and manufactured,
Fasti C.N.C. Folding Machines. These machines incorporate a 7-axis CNC controller and 200 tons of clamping force
to produce the highest degree of parallelism and angularity throughout the length of the part.
The Fasti Machine's folding capacity is 10mm (3/8") x 4200mm (165") of grade 50, carbon steel. It is possible to
form 1/2" plate and 3/4" plate in very limited capacity. RDM offers this precision C.N.C. controlled forming
technology to exceed the limitations of press-brakes, and with special tooling, form deep channels up to a foot
deep by one-half foot wide. Companies such as John Deere have utilized the Fasti Folding Machine to reach ultimate
consistency in quality for tough manual/robotic welding applications.
