Positions include -

  • Mechanical Engineer for RDM in Dodge Center
    This position is responsible for engineering, drafting, quote support and working with both new product development and solving issues with existing product lines as needed.  Researches, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application and installation of these products.  Applicants must have experience working with metal fabrications and a 4 year mechanical engineering degree.

  • New Product Process Manager
    This position is ultimately responsible for the total customer satisfaction of new product start-ups. The manager: Plans prototype and preproduction operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Reviews prototype and preproduction operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization of company resources. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. The New Product Process Manager must have the educational background or industry experience necessary to demonstrate they possess the skills needed for the job.
  • Quality Supervisor
    This position is ultimately responsible for customer satisfaction of all RDM products. The Quality Supervisor: Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics; Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures; Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards; Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics; Supervises staff of Quality Technicians. The Quality Control Supervisor must have the educational background or work experience necessary to demonstrate they possess the math and computer skills needed for the job.
  • Drafter/Order Entry
    This position is responsible for drafting, CNC programing and order entry. The Drafter/Order Entry Position: Operates a computer-aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment to generate digitized drawings for machined and/or fabricated metal parts; Utilizes CNC computer software to produce computer programs to control CNC machine tools and cutting centers; Enters customer orders into our enterprise system taking care to make sure the order will be produced to customer specifications. The drafter/order entry position requires a two year drafting degree and industry experience.
